3 to 6 year old child dental care

them understand its importance, gradually getting them used to it.When a child turns 3 years old, some changes need to be made in their dental care. Because baby tooth enamel needs to be strong, tooth decay needs to be prevented and the oral environment needs to be kept clean. Children between the ages of 3 and 6 are often reluctant to brush their teeth. Therefore, we will motivate them to brush regularly and help.

The way I encouraged brushing my teeth.

After tooth extraction, both parents start taking care of their teeth because they don’t know how to do it. Initially, we gave him a toy brush with very soft bristles and a small brush head to get him used to toy brushing. Although she was reluctant to brush at first, we continued to brush her using playful techniques and songs.

What kind of brush did you like for the baby?

The choice of a baby brush should be considered very carefully. What we did was – first, we gave her a toy brush that had very soft bristles and a small brush head that was perfect for a baby’s face. From the beginning, I try to teach kids that they can’t porter. At the time, it seemed amazing to me. Now kids can do coolies themselves. Children imitate adults, so we try to teach them a lot early on and then they get used to it.

Toothpaste for baby.

When our child reaches the age of three, we use a good quality fluoride toothpaste. Because this is when his tooth enamel needs to be strengthened, fluoride-containing toothpaste is best. Fluoride is a natural killer that strengthens teeth, prevents tooth decay and kills bacteria in the mouth. However, after brushing, the face should be rinsed well and cleaned. Fluoride is also good for teeth but should not be used in excess. Sometimes children refuse to brush. Then we would convince him that we and his elders would be happy if he brushed his teeth and we would give him what he wanted. We encourage the child that brushing will make his teeth bright and shiny.

When to brush baby's teeth.

I used to brush the baby’s first tooth in the morning because we all in the family watched the baby brush in the morning and how to do it. As the baby gets older, if he understands the importance, I brush his teeth after dinner and wash his mouth thoroughly. Children get used to it.

What kind of food damages teeth?

  1. Eat cold in the fridge. Cold water/cool drink.  Cold lollies/juices, ice creams can harm them. Children should eat them but should not overfeed.
  2. Eating biscuits is not a problem. But we will not only eat biscuits tea with biscuits. Copy. Or dip it with water and feed it soft. Because just by eating biscuits, it sticks to the teeth and between the soil of the teeth, which does not go away even after rinsing with water and even after brushing, after that the child’s teeth problems appear in the mouth and the tooth decay with bacteria in the tooth soil. Children should not be fed dry biscuits. For example: Our children have tested it, we don’t feed them dry biscuits, they eat them with water or tea.
