When you travel with children, you can sense their intellectual development, which I realised when I set out on a mission to travel with my child. About 1 hour and 30 minutes after leaving home, we began our river cruise. I will share with you the experience of travelling along the river.
When we boarded the ship, it was a sunny day—perfect for a wonderful river cruise. We sat in chairs under the open sky on the ship, from where we could see many boats, speedboats, cargo ships, and vessels carrying many travellers, along with the waves of the blue waters of the ocean in a pleasant atmosphere. Our children stared in awe at the tiny speedboats and cheered and clapped their hands at times.
The children asked many questions about the ocean. “Who makes such a big ship?” Our initial journey was filled with questions about how ships manoeuvre.
If we ask our children something about that trip, they can easily answer with joy—something not possible just by reading and memorising from books. This is why travel is so important for children.
Travel is as important for adults as it is for children, as we can easily understand from the above experience. Travel is a great medium of knowledge in many ways, promoting creativity in children, expanding thinking, providing practical knowledge, stimulating curiosity, and fostering a science-based research attitude. I realised this firsthand.
My Expectations
I will spend most of my time in the future travelling with my children and setting aside time for relaxing and educational trips for them. In addition to sports and studies, our children also go on trips with their school. Everyone should become familiar with the most beautiful sights of this world, which is possible only through travel.
